Brandon Brimley, Owner
Executive Chef/Catering Coordinator
Hey there, ladies and gentlemen! Cooking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I acquired my culinary skills and techniques from the Pulaski Technical College of Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Meanwhile, being fascinated by culinary art, I knew that I was capable of showcasing my own creations. I would like to consider my style of cooking on the versatile side. I was able to work banquets as an apprentice, participate in fundraisers and have restaurant tours from many cuisines. Then, I was able to promote unity and community service. As a result of hard work, dedication and most of all faith, a seed was planted in my heart to give.
Throughout my career, I have worked with all kinds of profound chefs from all over the globe: from Italy to the Caribbean, France to Portugal. As a huge advocate for child hunger and obesity relief efforts, another passion is teaching cooking classes to youth providing basic cooking fundamentals and plans to curate nutritional programs to help them maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. It brings me great joy to help others and give back to the community. I encourage children to find something their passionate about, be great at it and the rest shall follow
In 2013, I was hired for my first job making cupcakes. Yep, cupcakes! The client was floored by the taste and presentation.
In 2014, I catered my first wedding to feed over 200 guests at the Greek Orthodox Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In 2015, I became a member of a non-profit organization in the community (The Stand Foundation) to help build leadership and entrepreneurial skills. I also became a first time father to a beautiful baby girl!
In 2016, because of my tenacity to chase and follow my dreams, I was able to secure a spot on Fox 16’s Food Spotlight segment. This led to me becoming the Food Director of Bearden Productions Center for the Arts, where I taught the fundamentals of cooking to kids as young as six years old up to 12 years old.
In 2017, I managed to win the University of Arkansas at Pulaski Technical College Diamond Chef’s social media contest for the most votes of “Making the Cut”. I competed in the cooking competition whereas I did not place, but I was rather grateful for the experience. I also competed in 2018 and 2019 without placing but I will be back… one of these days 🙂
During the summer of 2017 and 2018, I was selected to perform cooking demos for the Derek Lewis Foundation and Timmons Arts Foundation youth camp for health and nutritional purposes.
